About Jinko
Jinko is a YC-backed startup building travel infrastructure for AI agents. We enable developers to create agents
that can search, plan, and book travel through reliable access to travel data, services, and booking capabilities.
Our team brings together repeat entrepreneurs with deep travel industry experience. Based at Station F in Paris,
we work closely with world-class companies across travel and technology.

Sujet :
About the Role
You will use data analysis and machine learning to help improve how AI agents understand and use travel
information. Working directly with the founding team, you will explore datasets, formulate hypotheses, build
prototypes, and evaluate what works. Your findings will inform both product decisions and the infrastructure we
build.
What You Will Work On
• Analyze travel data to uncover patterns, assess coverage and quality, and identify opportunities to improve agent
capabilities.
• Explore and evaluate machine learning approaches for tasks such as search, ranking, recommendations, and
matching data across sources.
• Design experiments, establish baselines, and define metrics to assess model quality and practical usefulness.
• Build reproducible data preparation and analysis workflows using Python and SQL.
• Investigate model errors and data limitations, and communicate findings through clear visualizations and
recommendations.
• Collaborate with engineers to turn promising analyses and prototypes into components of our travel infrastructure.

Profil du candidat :
What We Are Looking For
• Data analysis skills: You can explore unfamiliar datasets, apply statistical reasoning, and explain your
conclusions and their limitations.
• Programming ability: You are comfortable with Python and SQL and can write clear, testable code for analysis
and experimentation.
• Machine learning foundations: You understand model training, validation, evaluation metrics, and common
pitfalls such as overfitting and data leakage.
• Curiosity about AI agents, a practical approach to problem-solving, and the ability to work independently while
communicating with a small team.
Experience with pandas, scikit-learn, PyTorch, embeddings, or recommendation systems is a plus. Coursework,
research, and personal projects are all relevant; prior travel industry experience is not required.
