European conference dedicated to the future use of ICT in the agriculture and agri-food sector, bioresource and biomass sector

Présentation :

Montpellier, France, organizes this year the EFITA Congress. EFITA is the European conference dedicated to the future use of ICT in the agri-food sector, bioresource and biomass sector. It was launched and is supported by the European Federation for Information Technology in Agriculture, Food and the Environment (EFITA). EFITA happens every two year, and EFITA 2017 is the 11th edition. 150 participants are expected from around 30 countries.

Many initiatives such as invited workshops and sessions and internal meetings come together within EFITA conference to make Montpellier the place to go in July when it comes to ICT for agri-food, bioresource and biomass sectors. A Hackathon will happen the week-end before and a technical tour will conclude the conference. The schedule is organised to make the conference attractive to research teams and to companies.
